Indian Summer: The Oka Crisis

Its been geez, 16 years and counting since the , it seems like yesturday or last week...oh wait that was the Six Nations stand off in Caladonia, and over what is it this time? land?.

Well you can relive the Oka Crisis again, becouse the CBC will be airing Indian Summer: The Oka Crisis it's what film makers like to call "inspired by actual events". Meaning that it will revolve around the table of actual events and tell something of a story as to what happend, but for the most part be made up...becouse you know the actual events are boring and without any conflict or 16 years later with out resolution.

Anyways I recieved an email earlier this week stating that CBC is playing a little dirty pool and not doing any promotion for the program. So I do my part for the team!!!

Not sure, but if I can get an advance screening I will review and let you know...

stay tuned!!!

Do you think it's likely this film will ever be shown in the US (at film fests or cable stations)? I'm in Chicago, and from what I've seen about the CBC not promoting it makes it seem unlikely it'll be shown here soon...
