Plants we often over look!

The summer has provided a great splash of colour. Along the roadside, fields, laneways, and flowing down hillsides you can enjoy the many colours and shapes of native plants. This week on Aboriginal Voices, we will be discussing the many native plants of North America and the work by the folks at Sweet Grass Gardens in Six Nations Ontario. (see them at www.sweetgrassgardens.com)

The staff at Sweet Grass Gardens state: "It is our mission to preserve the history of North America and its First Nation People by encouraging the rediscovery and respect for our traditional Mother Earth."

How will you involve your family and friends in the plant world during the warm evenings of summer 2006?

Radio Active Contributions

Aboriginal Voices is a radio programme heard Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8 pm Eastern Time.
International time listing: 18h00 to 20h00 (We are GMT-5).

In an attempt to create a community of listeners, we are attempting to build a blog where listeners will have the chance to reflect upon our programme ideas, reread or view images each week, and reply in comment form.

Our hope is to create audio segments which will accompany each entry.

Join us as we begin our adventure!
