its no virgin mary/elvis burnt in the surface of a piece of toast, crop circle or lochness monster...but I think we will take it and wear as a symbol of national pride...

Flags of our Fathers

Starring Adam Beach,

No, I have not seen yet...not really sure if I will get to see this weekend. but hey its starring adam beach...well I guess to be fair it's really starring ryan phillippe or depending on who you ask mrs. witherspoon (man she was good in man in the moon). anyways this here flags of our father is I guess based on the Iwo jima flag raisers and how these guys have to deal with being propped up as heros, and how they deal with the whole thing...trying to live up to the public perception and all...seems like it should be good...and its directed by the "MAN" EASTWOOD!!! who would have thought he could direct...if you dont think so, check out bridges of madison county...it rocks...

check it out...drop back let us know what you think...

Amish Community of Nickel Mines - Show your support

most of you probable know about the acts that took place in the Amish Community of Nickel Mines Pennsylvania...

In anycase the Menninite Community of Ontario(and dare I say Canada)has been asked by Nickel Mines for support, mainly financial I think, to help with the medical bills and other unforseen costs in a tragedy such as this. But you know I am sure any support that you can offer would be accepted in the nature that it is given. I guess that the Amish are also thinking about rebuilding the school house where the events took place. So your support can also be used in this effort as well.

This is cool the leaders in Nickel Mines also asked for your prayers in what ever faith you choose. maybe the rest of the world can take note.

I hope that you all can help out. the support will be made here in canada with the Mennonite Centrel Commitee
