June 29th 2007 The National Day of Action

I am not sure if anybody will be hiding their women and children on the "National Day of Action" but, "the powers that be" would have you believe this to be true. mayhem in the streets, circle the wagons...The indians is coming the indians is coming.
these are some of the more popular thoughts out there in the country that is called Canada. We have to ask ourselves does one person with slightly demented goals speak for us? The goals of the leader of the conservitive government, I guess to nail this point home the Prime Minister of Canada's goals are to have really no dependents, cut the cord, ween the calves from the cow. build a stronger Canada with the power and money to make a super power on the world stage. and how do you do this? by starving the very people you made commitments too...by cutting down the very people who helped make this nation of Canada a reality. by telling them that their success is not going to be held up to the world but rather hidden under a bush...

So I ask all that are reading this, go out and do your part for the cause. power to the people...we can make a diffrence...and make it far.

National Day of Action June 29th 2007, go out let you voice be heard in Kingston around 6pm at the Via rail train station in Kingston Ontario Canada...Check around in your own communities I am sure you will find some form action to participate in...

so about last week!

It was Graduation time at the FNTI

Had to be on hand to see the fine folks of the Indigenous Communications Program Graduate(formally the Aboriginal Media Program). Also had to finish a small video to the class of 2007.

it was a nice night good times had by all, and then some...its always nice to see folks succed but its also kind of hard to see them leave the halls of the FNTI. They are all grown up now and going out on there own living life to its fullest and never forgetting that we are now a part of a family....and that we will always look out for one another...

Thanks Class of 2007
and since your here catch the voices...

so I hear harper going to fix the land claims process...

PM harper is planning on streamlining the land claims process, and Phil Fontaine just weeks after calling the national day of action of not only first nations people but canadians as well...he is nothing if not ever so hunky dory to sit with the Harper to plan this process...which I might ad is only an idea that is probably not going to pass in jan 2008, and indians is not going to block trains in the middle of winter...can you see the logic?

this land claims business is going way to long says harper...I mean we thought everything was good and then you guys starts to block trains...me and the rest of my grey haired leaders never thought you was bold enough to do that...Ummm maybe we should get a handle on this land claims business...oh and just to show that I am serius about really making this commitment I will throw a quote in there from senitor gladstone, that should fool them train stopping fools...

I am of course pariphrasing...he may actually been sincere...he is also a politician so you can come to your own conclusion...
