Geranium Uranium

Tonight Eric "vocalist, entertainer, rock star, genral guy about town" Voice stopped in to have a sit down chat about what is going in his life since the release of his new CD
"life giver" which I guess can be purchased on the net someplace (try here) if you interested...
Eric had some insight about the Sharbert lake first nation and the territory that is being absconded for uranium mining...right in the back yard of the Kingston Ontario Canada can you believe this insanity...the love of money it will bite you and hard

we have a recording of the Robert Lovelace talking about the uranium mining in the Sharbert lake...its interesting stuff...

anyways I out...nothing more to say...so if you don't mind check out the voices and have a nice day...

Chuck Stahl, chucky to his friends!!!

the new face of the Indian and northern affairs Canada is none other then the "Chuck Stahl" the chuck is/was the agriculture minister before being bumped up or down to the Indian affairs...I am not sure if the INAC is a sweet posting or not...

anyways the life is going on at the voices...we spoke of the new things going on in northern quebec and inuit who are putting together their own situation in the form of a territory...so you know that is cool for them...seems that they are going to have a territory where they can make there own laws and stuff...but they wont have any rights to minerals and natural resources...not sure what the fine detail is on that one...but when the ink drys it sounds like they is getting the short end of the stick

book reports are on hand tonight with one about the beothuk Indians of the Nova Scotia I think...also a book on Mexico...both sounding very entertaining and informative...

well the time has come for you to live free and prosper and what better way then to have a visit with the Voices...

Aboriginal Voices - the country camp cooking edition

Doug and I have sort half decided to make a cooking show this evening and though we could not be out in the elements we were there in spirit if not in body...but really what do it all matter to you folks...you didn't show up anyways...

Doug stuffed a trout, with what I am unsure but lets just say its good eating all the way for that boy...he also made some dutch oven bread...I created a beer can chicken(though I dont drink so it was coke can chicken for me) with the help of the internet...and much much more

Doug with the help of a listener brought an article to light that had come out last year about the way in which big business is partnering with Federal Governments (PM harper)is coming into native reserves, territory's (land bases) to make money off the backs of misfortune...can you believe it?

where is Michael Moore when you need him!!!

while I am looking for the shock doc maker you sit here mind the store and listen to the voices

Eric Voice last saturday night!!! but tuesday is forever!!!

Doug and I survived the Eric Voice concert. I say this because we was the MC's masters of ceremonies...at the event. Eric asked for us specifically and I am pretty sure that he wont do that again...but you never know we might be up for it again...we were not radio personalities over night, it just sort of happened and now we are in command of the internet radio podcast empire known as the Voices2u.ca.

Anyways!!! Eric Voice was putting on a concert to celebrate his new album "Life Giver" a CD largely written and dedicated to Eric's Mother. I am not sure but I think you can order it from his website...OK I just checked you cant actually purchase the CD on his website but you are able to go to world wide sunshine go now...and tell them the Voices sent you.

last night we had a good time talking about some information the Douglas found about "unlocking the potential of the native student" a program designed by some educators who work for the Provence, putting together web casts designed to help the secondary school teachers in there quest to teach aboriginal children.

take a listen tonight to also hear about the governments plan to rebuild the Keshechewan Cree Territory, you might remember that a couple of years ago they had some nasty problems with flooding and poor drinking water and all the other stuffs related to such conditions...

this is all for me...I am out here...please be a dear water the plants and stay for the Voices
